12 short bolts go around the edge of the valve cover with the provided spacers in between and the 8 longer bolts go into the 4 coil packs and 4 spaces on top of the valve cover.

This is a valve cover hardware dress-up kit for the 2.5 engine in the latest Camry, RAV4 and Avalon, as well as the e210 2.0 Corolla. It replaces the 12 perimeter bolts (short bolts) with the much better looking stainless steel bolts and anodized washers along with an aluminum insert to keep the bolts where they need to be like the factory ones, and replaces the 4 inner valve cover and 4 coil pack bolts (long bolts) with the anodized washers and stainless steel bolts.
